BuildMyRealEstateTeam.com (“we,” “us”) is a planning and education tool for people buying a home in Sarasota and Manatee counties, Florida, and a place for local real estate professionals to show who they are. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

We are not a real estate brokerage, a mortgage lender or broker, a title company, a law firm or a financial adviser. We don't represent you in a purchase, make loans, or give legal, tax or financial advice. Choose and rely on licensed professionals for those.

Prices, payments, taxes, insurance, closing costs, down payment programs, sale records and other figures on the site are estimates from public sources and our own math. They can be out of date or wrong for a specific home, and they are not a loan offer, an appraisal or a promise that you'll qualify for anything. A lender, insurer, title company or the county gives the real numbers for your situation.

Down payment programs set their own rules, and their funding opens and closes. We check them regularly, but the program is the final word on who qualifies.

Buyers use the site for free. You sign in with a link or code we email you, so keep access to your email account safe, and keep your private blueprint link to yourself: anyone with it can open your plan.

Give us accurate information, and only use an email address that is yours. You can change your answers or ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to hello@buildmyrealestateteam.com.

You choose your own agent, lender and title company. Picking a professional for your team is private. We only share your blueprint with a professional when you ask that professional to reach out to you, and we keep a record of that request.

Search results are ranked by how well a professional fits your plan, using public license records and what professionals tell us. No professional can pay to be ranked higher. A listing or ranking is not a recommendation or a guarantee of anyone's work: interview the professionals you consider, check their licenses, and decide for yourself. Any agreement you make with a professional is between you and them.

Profiles start from public state license records. When you claim your profile, you confirm that you are the licensee, that what you add is true and kept up to date, and that you have the right to use any photos, logos and text you upload. We may verify claims, edit or remove content that is inaccurate, misleading or against these terms, and suspend profiles that misuse the site.

A buyer's blueprint and contact details are shared with you only because that buyer asked. Use them only to respond to that buyer about their home search, follow the laws that apply to you, including licensing, fair housing, privacy and telemarketing rules, and stop contacting a buyer who asks you to.

Profiles and buyer requests are free. If we offer optional paid tools in the future, their terms will be shown before you buy, and paying will never change how you rank in a buyer's search.

Please don't:

• copy, scrape or resell the site's content or data, or use automated tools to collect it
• pose as someone else, or create accounts for people without their permission
• post anything unlawful, discriminatory, false or that infringes someone else's rights
• try to get around security, rate limits or access controls, or interfere with how the site runs
• use the site to send spam or unwanted marketing

The site's design, text, tools and graphics belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own home search or business profile, not to build a competing service.

We link to public sources and other websites, such as county offices, state agencies and program pages. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they say or do.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the site will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the site, including a purchase, a loan or your choice of professional. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100.

We may update these terms as the site grows; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. These terms are governed by Florida law, and disputes belong in the state or federal courts in Sarasota County, Florida.
